Itanza Sewell brings a wealth of sales experience, both in and out of the new homes industry, to her role as Managing Broker and Sales Leader of Velocity Real Estate.
After beginning her sales career with Siemens Enterprise Communications, Itanza made the move to real estate sales. She is experienced in general brokerage real estate and is a specialist in new construction sales having served as Neighborhood Sales Manager and then Division Sales Manager for John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods in Atlanta, where she marketed and managed the sales of a diverse portfolio of product ranging from townhomes to luxury custom home designs. Itanza also previously served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Stonecrest Homes.
Itanza holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Georgia. She lives in Roswell along with her husband and two children.
A full-time licensed Realtor® and Atlanta resident for more than thirty years, Sharon has helped many buyers and sellers to not only find the right new home but enjoy the experience as well. She has managed sales contracts for all types of residential properties from starter homes to luxury estates as well as investment properties.
Sharon is known for her flexible, client-focused approach with a keen ability to listen to her client’s needs and translate those into the right move for them. She is a skilled negotiator with years of experience analyzing data and trends to accurately price and market a home to maximize value. Sharon is committed above all to providing excellent service to each buyer and seller and, over the years has been honored in turn with her clients’ trust as well as a steady stream of referral and repeat clients.
Originally from Los Angeles, Shauna attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas studying Broadcast Journalism before focusing her career on residential real estate with the start of the residential construction boom of the 1990s. She served as a mortgage loan officer with Bank of America and first became a licensed real estate agent in 2000.
Along with her husband, son and daughter, Shauna relocated to Alpharetta, GA in 2006 where she has continued her successful real estate career with a focus on new construction home sales as well as resales. As an agent, Shauna is a strong communicator who is known for her flexibility, patience and humor. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling with her family, getting in a workout on her Peloton bike and taking on some family genealogical research.

With nearly two decades of sales experience under his belt, Gerard Dossou joined the Velocity Real Estate team in 2017 as a Sales Assistant. Gerard acts as a personal concierge for buyers helping to match their unique needs and preferences for their new home, coordinating showings, setting up appointments, assisting with closing needs and so much more.
Prior to joining the Velocity team, Gerard spent nearly a decade in the luxury apparel industry as Gucci Department Specialist for Neiman Marcus and Assistant Leather Goods Manager for LVMH Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey, managing multi-million dollar store volumes and training and supervising sales associates. He also served seven years as a corporate sales representative for Frito Lay, Inc. where he was the top performing sales representative in the Southeast Region for six consecutive years.
