We started inside the builder’s office. That changes everything about how we sell homes.
The Velocity Real Estate team in Atlanta operates from a foundation most brokerages lack: direct builder operations experience. Itanza Johnson started as a Neighborhood Sales Manager at John Wieland Homes, then became VP of Sales and Marketing at Stonecrest Homes. That background, combined with a Georgia Tech industrial engineering degree, gives our team a fundamentally different lens on how homes get priced, marketed, and sold.
When she founded Velocity Real Estate, she brought that builder-side perspective to every client relationship. Buyers get an agent who understands construction timelines, spec levels, and builder incentive structures. Sellers get a broker who prices with data, not gut feeling. Builders get an operations partner who has run their sales floor. The result is $600M+ in cumulative sales volume and a team that operates at the intersection of new construction and residential resale.
